Ø
Job description: T he Financial Services
Industry Sales Director will own/drive the Asia-Pacific Japan (APJ) sales and
industry transformation efforts for the Financial Services (FSI) solutions
and infrastructure business.
Ø
He/She will lead, develop and up level the APJ
FSI BDM vertical sales capability, and to help identify and engage the FSI
ISV/SI ecosystem across APJ for volume scale-out FSI programs.
Ø
Strong relationship and credibility in the APJ
financial services industry and ecosystem.
Ø
More than 5+ years work experienc e with
enterprise datacenter infrastructure and customers, and preferably the ISV/SI
ecosystem of the financial services industry.
Ø
Enterprise experience (preferably within FSI)
in datacenter tr ansformation (cloud business models),
Big-data/Analytics/HPC, multi-channel banking, bank branch transformation,
IoT-Cloud enterprise ecosystem solutions and S ecurity infrastructure. S
Ø
More than 5+ years work experience within our
Client's Sales and Marketing group. Understands how to engage with Geo and
headquarter resources to execute, and secure decisions within SMG, Client and
customers. Respected leader within ISG, APJ and associated business groups
(DCG, CCG, IOTG).
Ø
Excellent executive conversation skills. Is
able to speak and sell at CIO/CTO and Press, analyst levels - on technical,
commercial, strategy and business model matters.
Ø
Has a successful track record for sales
growth, and enjoys managing a cross-geo asia-pacific and Japan business
development resources/team, in earning voice and respect between WW and Geo
management/stakeholders.
Ø
Strong operational skills - able to set
processes to set and track goals and escalate issues with high velocity and
clarity.
Ø
Proven ability and experience in building
effective sales skill-development plans for direct and matrix sales
resources.
Ø
Strong strategic skills - able to link
together disparate trends and find the 'insight in the data/thrash' for both
SMG and the BU's to take action.
Ø
Be flexible and open to unrestrained travel,
through the APJ region.
